Today, well-travelled producer Unpropped has released his latest 5-track EP, Acausality. The EP contains the already released singles ‘Virola’ and ‘Nousle’, and now, taking the lead is the thriller single, ‘Inner’, a morphing, swelling, and breathing composition made purely from sonic fragments and rolling bass lost in perpetual motion.

Within ‘Inner’, distortion sizzles, kicks collide, and synths ricochet. The mix is paned and spacious. There is a lot happening in the periphery, lots of subtle nuances float around in the background. Close your eyes, focus, and they will stand out.
Unpropped opens the curtains: “This EP follows an unpublished 9-track album I had been putting together during 2021 and 2022. Nevertheless, I decided not to go on with the concept of that album and instead started to focus on the elements that made those specific tracks so captivating to me. How could I amplify those particular atmospheres which resonate much more with my own way of perceiving emotions, dreams, nature, society, and the world in general? Acausality is the earliest crystallization of that exploration process.”
