Tristan Arp has announced his new EP, ‘(re)weave’, which will be released on 17th April through Objekt‘s Kapsela label. Originally from Detroit and now based in London, Arp created the project during a time of change, inspired by his moves from Mexico City to New York and finally to the UK. This EP follows his previous album ‘a pool, a portal’ on Wisdom Teeth and his two 2023 EPs, ‘The Self Elastic’ and ‘End of a Line or Part of a Circle?’.

The EP focuses on percussive, bass-heavy electronic music. Arp took unfinished sessions and turned them into tracks that sound both raw and polished. The first single, ‘Forking Paths’, is already streaming on Bandcamp, and the full ‘(re)weave’ EP is available for pre-order.

Kapsela has already built a strong catalog, including ‘Suspension of Belief’ by gyrofield, ‘Slipstream‘ by PVAS, and two earlier EPs from Objekt. Tristan Arp has also contributed to DJ Mag’s Selections series and revisited his 2019 Fresh Kicks mix.
