The recently established Urban Latin imprint Salia Sounds unveiled its sophomore release by Spanish artists Salcedo and Knxashi. The artists collaborated on a heartfelt single titled ‘No Somos Nada’ which was released on 10 July 2024.
The single uses introspective lyrics to address internal struggle and loss. Kxnashi and Salcedo express vulnerability and resilience with their songwriting, while the playful production uses elements of electronica, pop and R&B to create a dynamic and fast-paced momentum. Produced by Salia Sounds regular Wiguez, the track beautifully conveys the sadness and loss associated with heartbreak and inner turmoil.
Mario Salcedo was born in Seville, and is a young artist known for his multi genre experiments under the alias Salcedo. Kxnashi is also quite well-known in the Spanish urban scene, and draws influence from alternative rock, trap and electronic music.
Salcedo shares: When we were in the studio with our producer Wiguez, we wanted to create something that also had a lot of energy and rhythm. We believe this song has the power to touch souls and connect hearts through its authenticity and energy.”
