Neo-classical composer vaghy has shared his newest release, a video for his 2022 single ‘Bite’. And the video is itself a work of art. Furthermore, the composer has announced that he will be releasing his second album, Granum, on the 26th of this month under Théque Records.

A splattering of colourful speckless, vaghy’s video blends paint and film to tell a fragmented story through the medium of montage. Reels of video tape (the actual plastic stuff) unravel, stopping only on occasion to show us a glimmer into some events before continuing to spin across the screen.
“The pace and atmosphere of the ‘Bite’ spinning wheel were born from an image I saw at an exhibition,” said the composer. “The funny thing is that I didn’t even remember the work of art itself anymore, I only felt the atmosphere and the drift, which then took its final form on the piano.”
